1/2 C marg/butter
1/2 C shortening
1 C powdered sugar
1 egg
2 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Cream marg/butter and shortening together then add sugar and egg. Mix dry ingredients together then add to wet ingredients slowly mixing.
Cool for at least 30 min then roll out and cut into desired shapes. Cook at 350 degrees 10-12 min. Ice with favorite icing.
